A Christmas To Remember By Jenny Hale

Hey everyone, If you live in the U.S tomorrow is Thanksgiving! Even though, the book I have to share with you is Christmas book it is also about being appreciative and thankful for who you have in your life. I wish you all a very happy and thankful Thanksgiving!

A Christmas to Remember by Jenny Hale

Carrie Blake is a thirty-three year old nanny who loves her job with heart and passion. However, being a nanny has made it difficult for her to have what she wants in life, a family of her own.

So, with a heavy heart she has decided to take on one last nanny job before setting on a new course towards her own desires.

Her last nanny job is taking care of the Fletcher twins, Olivia and David.

This nanny job is not like any she has had in the past.

Adam Fletcher is a single  dad who owns a brewery and is a workaholic, leaving little to no time for his children.

Carrie is determined to show him what he is missing and how to reconnect with his children, what she did not expect was him helping her as well.

Life is a balancing act and Christmas is a perfect time for miracles.

I REALLY enjoyed this book! It had all the perfect family and Christmas feels! The one thing that did bother me is that Carrie kept repeating herself, other than that it was a wonderful book!

The French For Christmas By Fiona Valpy

Hey everyone, Are you guys in the Christmas spirit yet? If not, I have the story that just might get you a little closer to  feeling the Christmas spirit and feeling less Bah Hum Bug! :)

The French for Christmas by Fiona Valpy

Evie and Will  used to love cooking and running a bistro together but after the devastating loss of  their daughter the two have separated.

Evie's friends offer her the use of their countryside cottage as a way for Evie to get away from all things Christmas and  rejuvenate.

When she arrives she realizes it is not as peaceful as she thought it would be and has to get used to the sounds.

She decides to visit a market and along the way comes across a church that shows her how to find light in darkness.

After sometime she becomes ill. So, when Didier knocks on the door to ask if he may borrow a grater she is far from up to the task of  making a good impression. Though, it is a lasting one.

A little time away was supposed to be an escape from Christmas. However, Christmas may find her.

I really enjoyed this book it was heart wrenching and heartwarming at the same time. This book is a reminder of what is truly important and not just during the holidays but in everyday life. I also felt a connection with Evie having lost my youngest daughter when she was only 24 days old. Loss is not something to get over. The people we lose we must carry them in our hearts and souls as we continue to live until we are reunited again.

Inside Out By Lia Riley

Hey everyone today I have the conclusion of the Off the Map series to share with you today. ( I reviewed the first book Upside Down on August 15, 2014 and the second book Sideswiped September 14, 2014) If you have not read the first two I highly recommend doing so before picking up this book, As the books do not reiterate. For those of you who have read the previous two books lets get started.

Inside Out by Lia Riley.

When Sideswiped ended we learned that Bran and Talia had both gone off to follow their individual dreams.

Talia joined the Peace Corp, they sent her to Africa where she taught English as a second language to children.

Bran joined a marine activist organization determined to prevent illegal whaling in the Antarctic.
While Bran was a way he had some time to think. He missed Talia and pleaded his case for a chance to make things right.

Talia's reality was nothing like her dream. While there for four months she contracted malaria from a mosquito. Bran's reality was not like his dream either, he earned quite a celebrity type status due to his quick thinking actions while away but was far from pleased about his new found fame.

Bran quit the activist organization to be by Talia's side after learning she was in the hospital. Once Bran informed Talia's father of what had happened her father insisted on her recovering in California.

To say that Bran and Talia's father were on shaky ground is putting it lightly. However, Bran refuses to leave her side unless she says otherwise. He has a three month tourist visa so in that time he and Talia must figure things out.

Will the tide of change be too big for these two to ride together, or will they hold on tight and face whatever the future holds together?

I LOVED THIS BOOK! The trilogy overall was amazing! I was very satisfied with the conclusion. At the same time, I am sad it has come to an end.

Fearless By Priscilla West

Hey everyone I am back with another review! The book I have to share with you is a sequel to the book Reckless by Priscilla West. ( I reviewed Reckless on September 29, 2014) If you have not read Reckless yet, I highly recommend you read it before diving into the sequel as it starts right where Reckless left off with no reinterating. For those of you who have read Reckless let's get started.

Fearless by Priscilla West

If you can recall at the end of Reckless Jax and Riley had managed to escape the Reapers and Jax's father with their lives. However, not without injuries. As Riley was about to ride off with Jax, she made an impulsively dangerous decision.

She hurled a flaming bottle towards Jax's childhood home causing not only the house to be on fire but the Reapers bikes and his fathers car as well.

Once his father had been informed of the situation, he vowed vengeance.

They were on the road but still in fear. She advised for Jax to keep talking to her, when he told her to get him home. She reluctantly took him home as he wished instead of taking him to the hospital.

When they arrived at home they were relieved that they made it and were grateful the rest of the band was at a party.

As Riley was cleaning Jax up and tending to his wounds she noticed a severe multicolored bruise from his side to halfway across his body. Jax stated it is not as bad as it looks and that he has had much worse, promising her that if it got any worse he would call a doctor.

The morning after, Riley ran downstairs to find Jax looking better and telling his band mates he had sustained his injuries after winning a game of pool.

The night the band was to play Riley thought he should reschedule and give himself time to heal. He stated he needed to go on tonight not just for the fans but for a way to let go of everything that happened.

However, while on stage he had pushed his body to the limit. The result, forcing him to heal not only physically but also emotionally.

Will the method that helps him to heal be what rips them apart?

I LOVED THIS BOOK! I loved that the author takes you from the first book right into the second, The story was raw and very realistic! I felt as though I was there right along with them step by step. They are the perfect book couple! Do NOT miss out on this incredible series and its heart stopping action.

Snow Angels, Secrets And Christmas Cake By Sue Watson

Hey everyone, I hope you are staying warm and cozy during this cold fall as we are forced to dive into a frosty winter. My go to philosophy during the cold is to hibernate with a book and a cup of hot cocoa. The book I have to share with you is a humorous story to jump start the Christmas spirit.

Snow Angels, Secrets and Christmas Cake by Sue Watson

Tamsin Angel is used to the finer things in life. Fancy clothes, the perfect house and has the plans for a Winter Wonderland Christmas set in motion. Her only concerns were to get her home ready for the holiday, take the perfect family photo and hold everything together.

Easier said than done, her husband Simon was working late again and it would be another year of having him Photoshopped into the family photo.

When the door chimed she thought it was Simon and that he must have been able to able to get away from work after all.

To her shocking surprise, it was not Simon but two bailiffs with a possessive warrant to take her home. At first, she thought it must be a big misunderstanding but was quickly informed her husband had known for weeks.

Within a split second she had lost her home and was penniless.

Her sister Sam offered Tamsin a place to stay with her and Sam's son Jacob.

Sam Angel lived a more modest life caring for her son and running her own business, The White Angel Bakery. While Sam is a hard worker and continues to put one foot in front of the other she struggles to let her boyfriend Richard into her heart. After losing her husband Steve, years before.

While the two sisters live under the same roof they are both faced with challenges they must over come. With all that life throws at them will they rise together or fall apart?

I liked this book and it was very funny through out the book. It pulled me in with its humor but I found it difficult for the story to keep its grip on my attention.

If you love reality television and books I have the perfect book for you. Even if you are like me and do not view reality television you will still enjoy this book!

Mateo  is very busy with the family shipping business and does not put having a relationship on the list of priorities. However, when he realizes the advertising benefits Mateo decides to go along with his uncle's idea of being on the reality show, Undertow.

Mateo and Sangria had met a year previously, at a car auction. Needless to say, Mateo left a lasting impression on Sangria.

So, when the two were face to face again it brought emotions to the surface.

Sangria, being the professional she is, is determined to remain professional. After all, he would soon be sailing out of her life. Right?

Marked By Rebecca Zanetti

Hey everyone, I have the perfect combination of action and love to share with you!

Marked by Rebecca Zanetti

What if you were the one human being non human races wanted to get their hands on? Well, that was the rock in a hard place situation Janie Kayrs was in.

Janie Kayrs was a well trained human with the gift of visions. Her mother a human, her adopted father, a vampire and the only father she had ever known.

For years Janie had visions of peace talks. So, when it came to be her reality she knew she had to attend. However, the fact that no visions had extended past the peace talks made her nervous and afraid but she was determined for the nearly two decade war among the races to end.

The key players in attendance were Dage, the king of the Realm, Vivian Northcutt, the leader of the witches, Kalin, the current leader of the Kurjans, Suri the demon leader and his nephew, Zane.

Zane was a demon, vampire, shifter mix who was known to many as The Ghost.

Zane and Janie were childhood friends since she was five years old. The two had met in dream worlds her entire life. So, you can imagine her shock when he entered the room.

As things were under way the key players voiced their demands. Demands starting boiling when one of Kalin's demands was access to Janie. However, it was no secret that Kalin wanted to mate with Janie.

When Suri was finished making his demands Zane surprisingly stood up and made demands of his own, that there will no Kurjan access to Janie and that although she will have choice over her own destiny she will be his.

Janie becoming his is easier said than done. Janie maybe human but she is a wild card who may need some convincing and tough love if he even has a shot with Janie and a chance to right wrongs.

Only time will tell if there is any hope.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! The book was action packed from start to finish! It kept me needing to read more!
