Do you enjoy Dystopian books? Do you enjoy Zombie books? Then, I am about to tell you the perfect book for you to rip your teeth into!

Euphoria-Z by Luke Ahearn: The world has ended as we know it. People are infected. Do not let their carefree and happy demeanor fool you. They take a beating and still keep going all with a smile on their face as they come to feast off you.

Cooper is one of the few who manages to keep going despite the challenge he faces as he searches for his sister. As if, zombies were not enough he has to face some pretty crazy humans as well. Acts of kindness are questioned as some humans cannot be trusted.

Another character I truly felt for was Sal. He lost his wife and has to find the will to go on.

While this book was quite gory as to be expected with a zombie book I found this book to be a very quick read. I appreciated the new spin on his book. His take is refreshing. I entered a giveaway via Goodreads First-reads and was contacted by the author to see if I would be interested in reading and reviewing his book. I am very grateful and appreciative  for the opportunity.

The sequel to this book is expected to be released in time for Halloween 2014!

Heartbreaker By Ariana Miller

Hello, I recently finished a touching love story!

Heartbreaker by Ariana Miller introduces you to the main character Nate who lost his beloved grandfather Wilfred. He visits the memorable place the two shared. While there he meets the neighbors and soon realizes they know a lot about not only his grandfather but also him. Yet, he knows nothing about them in comparison. One woman by the name of Amber catches his eye. Then in time captures his heart. However, is their connection strong enough? Is there love so true that it can conquer all?

I really enjoyed this book! It was a quick and easy read for me.

Land Of Shadows By Rachel Howzell Hall

Hi Everyone, I hope everyone is having a lovely summer so far! Today, I have a murder mystery to tell you about!

The Land Of Shadows by Rachel Howzell Hall. The main character Elouise Norton is a Los Angeles  Homicide detective. Her latest assigned victim a seventeen year old girl who was found in the closet of a condo construction site. While searching for answers and in her quest for justice she uncovers the truth in another case that hits closer to home.

This book is well written and enjoyable. The main character is realistic and I found her to be humorous at just the right moments.

I am very thankful and appreciative to have received an advanced readers copy of this book via Goodreads-First reads! This book is said to be released June 10, 2014!

The Beautiful Ugly By James Snyder

Today I have a very heartbreaking yet very well written story to share with you! Given the subject matter as a parent, I strongly recommend ADULTS ONLY should read this! However, as I have stated on my very first blog entry it is at the parent/guardians sole discretion as to whether a child should be allowed to read the content of the books I discuss.

The Beautiful Ugly by James Snyder pulls us into a world where sixteen year old Connelly Pierce wakes up in a psychiatric facility. The staff is trying to get her to talk with them. However, she is not willing to cooperate with them. She then begins to tell the reader about her childhood and experiences she had to endure.

It is my opinion that this story is well written but as a mother I felt sadness for the characters but also rage for how Connelly was treated. I felt compelled to keep reading. Simply because I wanted to know, What happens next? I am grateful to have received this book via Goodreads First reads!

There is a second book in the series that I would be interested in reading!

I have a sweet treat to share with you today!!!

Delectable by Adrianne Lee is takes place in Montana The main character Quint McCoy lost his father to a heart attack. Grief stricken he tells his wife Callee to divorce him, abandons his real estate business and goes fishing in Alaska.

When he returns  he soon finds out things are not quite as he had left them. His real estate office has been transformed into Big Sky Pie Shoppe by his mother. When he goes inside to try to find out the details he sees his soon-to-be ex wife. All of a sudden something happens to his mother. Promises are made and the ties that bind are not as easy to cut as they thought.

I LOVED this book! At the end I was left with that Oh So Good feeling and wanting another slice! It was that yummy! I received this book through Goodreads First reads! I am soo appreciative!

Angel Baby By Richard Lange

Hi Everyone, I hope you are doing well! Today, I have an usual book to share with you! While it is not the kind of book I would typically read due to the subject matter. I was yet again pleasantly surprised!

Angel Baby by Richard Lange is about a woman named Luz who leaves her abusive and powerful husband Rolando. Luz is determined to see her daughter. Once Rolando figures out his wife left him he decides to enlist the best man he has to track her down and bring her home.

This book is the first book I have ever read where I was rooting for the main character as well as the hired muscle. This book had me feeling so many emotions at once. I found this book very difficult to put down always wanting to know, what happens next?

This is the first book I have ever read by this author. I would be interested in reading something else by him in the future. I am very grateful and appreciative to have won an advance copy of this book via Goodreads First Reads!

Hi all of you lovely fellow readers! I have a wonderful book to share with you today!

Slightly Spellbound by Kimberly Frost:

I LOVED this book! It is the fourth installment in the Southern Witch series. I am ecstatic, grateful, and appreciative that I received this  book via Goodreads First Reads! I will without a doubt be devouring the rest of this series! My only regret is that I had not heard of Kimberly Frost prior! She will be added to my favorite authors list.
