Hey everyone, today I have a little something different to share with you! I normally do not read serials but this particular one peeked my interest. So, I thought I would give a general review. I will try my hardest to avoid spoilers.

Joaquín is a Navy Seal who is in jail for a crime he did not commit.
After attending a party Joaquín wakes up laying next to a dead stripper. He admits he slept with her but insists he did not kill her.
Joaquín's little sister Mia is on a mission of her own, to prove her brother is innocent. Even if, she has to become someone else to do it.
The most difficult challenge will be fooling her ex boyfriend.
I normally do not read serials due to length, However, I LOVED this storyline and it held my interest. I find myself NEEDING to find out what happens next. I will have to wait until sometime in March for the second installment, Chronic to be released. (according to Goodreads)

Hey everyone I have another AMAZING read to share with you from the extremely talented Nalini Singh! The book I am about to share with you is her newest book in the Rock Kiss series but can be as a standalone. I reviewed Rock Addiction on August 9, 2014 and Rock Courtship on September 16, 2014) I HIGHLY recommend anything written by Nalini Singh!

Charlotte was certain after the incident with the stapler she would be fired but instead he suggested a hole punch and took her to dinner.
Her colleagues were getting fired left and right. So, when she was called she took the walk of shame to his office.
Imagine her surprise when her walk of shame went from a series of company related inquires to a promotion to being his assistant.
Intelligent women are Gabriel's catnip but he wanted Ms. Baird to be his personal brand.
Will her past cripple his efforts?
I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! I have said this about all Ms. Singh's books and I will say it yet again, Singh NEVER disappoints! I loved everything about this book! The characters, the storyline, the chemistry and the realism. (when it came to dealing with a traumatic experience.)

I really enjoyed this book in the beginning. However, I went from really enjoyed to like when the book went from dark to down right fucked up. I understand the need for dark moments given the storyline. I just could not handle the animal cruelty. Other than that, I liked the uniqueness of the story in general and the ending was satisfying.

Stupid Boy By Cindy Miles
Hey everyone, the book I am going to share with you today is the sequel to Stupid Girl by Cindy Miles ( I reviewed Stupid Girl on June 29, 2014) You do not necessarily need to read Stupid Girl before reading the second book, Stupid Boy. However, there are small mentions in the second book that would be better understood if you read Stupid Girl first, as intended.

The only living relative she had was a grandmother. Now, when most of us think of a grandmother we think of a sweet, caring older woman with stories of fond memories to share.
BUT
Harper's grandmother was cold, cruel, and controlling. Instead of embracing Harper with love, understanding and emotional support. Corinne Belle, insisted that the past remain in the past never to be spoken again with anyone. Including, her last name. That was far from the worst of it, Corinne Belle taught her to fear her, the dark and degraded her all at once.
When Harper became an adult she still lived in fear but put on a believable act for all of Winston University. Until, She met Kane McCarthy.
Kane McCarthy a bad boy with a dark past and an illegal skill, has secrets of his own.
Can a bad boy be reformed?

Will Harper ever be able to reclaim her identity and live life without fear?
I LOVED THIS BOOK! However, this book tore at my heart. As a mother, I was thinking Oh. My. God. How could family act that way towards children? I am not naive, I know horrid things happen to children every day, sadly. I just do not understand such people. What I loved about the book was that even though Kane has a dark past of his own he remains the strong and caring person he always has been. Also, even though both main characters had been through their own ordeal they did not have hate towards the world.
