Estelle Donovan is a landscape artist from a small Californian town. She hates big cities and New York is no exception.
Even with her distaste for city living she reluctantly agrees to apartment sit for her brother while he is away for two weeks.
From the moment she stepped foot in the apartment things went downhill.
The fridge was not stocked as promised, which led to shopper's rage and ended with her being covered in pickle juice by a delectable, green eyed, sex god of a man.
Being the gentleman that Crosby Chase is, he offered to help Estelle out with getting her groceries out to her car. When he found out she did not have her car in the Big Apple, he graciously helped her carry her items as they walked back to her apartment.
Estelle was not very trusting of the sexy stranger.
After the shock of finding out Estelle's distaste for the city he loved, he made a deal that he could give her a few reasons of her own to love the city.
BUT
She found it to be highly doubtful.
Especially when Estelle's bad luck did not end at the store. Her air conditioning unit started smoking and she had been temporarily trapped in the apartment elevator.
When she escaped the death trap elevator, she ran into Crosby at the near by coffee shop.
AND
When she called a repair man about the A/C, Crosby showed up at her door.
Crosby has his work cut out for him.
Can this country girl survive the big city with her heart intact?
I REALLY enjoyed this book! It was a very fun and quick read!

As you can imagine her life is quite lonely, with only her doctor who is also her mother and her nurse to keep her company.
One day she hears the beep beep of the moving van. The neighbor boy and her take notice of each other as she looks out her bedroom window.
Madeline and Olly, both are intrigued by each other. Madeline is blown away by Olly's acrobatic skills, Olly wonders why Madeline never leaves her house.
One evening, Olly shows up at her door with a homemade Bundt cake asking to see the girl who lives there but her mother refuses.
After some time passes, Madeline manages to convince her nurse to allow the two to visit with each other.
For the first time Madeline keeps a secret from her mother.
When she witnesses a fight between Olly and his drunken dad, she feels compelled to rush to his side, putting herself at risk.
That was the turning point in her life. When she realized it was not enough to just simply be alive anymore.
She took the biggest risk of her life and decided to truly live!
I LOVED this book! It was another one of those books that started out slow, but stole my heart and took my breath away!

Rhiannon became used to living her life in a kind of trance. She was always second guessing herself and worrying about her boyfriends feelings, thoughts and actions while ignoring her own.
One night at a party changed everything. She met someone who made her feel alive again. The two exchange email addresses before they go their separate ways.
However, when she is informed that the guy she met is not who she thinks he is she reaches out wanting answers.
Answers are not always as easy to give, as the questions are to ask.
He has never told anyone the truth, until Rhiannon.
Imagine, if the one person who you connect with, you could never have a future with and they could never meet your friends and family.
I LOVED this book! It did take me a little bit to get into this book. BUT, I am very glad I stuck with this book. It went from being meh to pulling me in! I heard a lot of positive hype about this author before hand, but had never read anything from this author until this book. I can honestly say, I completely understand all the hype! This book blew my freaking mind! I WILL be reading more from Mr. Levithan in the future!

Tony Dunn took notice of the woman outside of the coffee shop, but he was a single father who had to put his daughter first and what he needed was a babysitter for his baby girl.
Nicole was not expecting to work while being in River Bend. She has a job waiting for her in Chicago but she spotted an ad for a babysitter with a generous wage that she could not ignore.
She only had to prove that she was the right person for the job.
Imagine the shock from both sides, when she discovered he was the father who was in need of childcare and she was the one applying.
Is what she needs just around the River Bend or in the windy city of Chicago?
I LOVED this book! The characters felt real, like old friends. I loved how Tony was with his daughter. This is a book that will melt your heart like butter.
