No Time Like Forever By Zoe York

Hey everyone, I hope you all are doing well. I have been enjoying the lovely autumn weather and of course, reading! I have a wonderful love story to share with you!

No Time Like Forever by Zoe York

Mari Beadie was a bartender at the one and only local pub but her passion was music. She loved being able to write lyrics between the lunch and dinner rush with the nights usually ending at a decent time. That is until, retired hockey player Chase Miller came back to town and became a regular.

As long as he was around she found it difficult to write, it annoyed her that his celebrity status attracted fans not customers.

Chase Miller retired from the sport after an auto accident, leaving him in a funk. So, he would go to the pub frequently to have a drink and some lunch.

One day while returning inside from taking a phone call Chase overheard the conversation between Mari and her persistent ex boyfriend, Joel.

Joel, would not accept the fact that they were never going to get back together.

Chase stepped in playing the part of her "boyfriend" making it believable with a kiss. After the  sparks flying kiss they shared neither one could stop thinking about it.

Meanwhile. back home Chase had a monkey of his own on his back.

His well meaning mother had been trying to encourage him to date again. So, to get her off his back he told her that he has a girlfriend.

He just had to convince Mari to play along.

The question is, how much of the act is just for show?

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! The way Chase was with Mari made my heart melt. This book was very touching! I WILL be reading more from Ms. York in the future!

This book was released October 21, 2014. If you love contemporary romance READ THIS BOOK!!

HAPPY READING!!!!

When Alexei and Miki return to the hospital they are shocked to learn her father has passed suddenly in his sleep.

Even though her and her father were never close like a father and daughter should be but they were linked in other ways.

Miki's father was all business with very little pleasure which left almost no emotional connection. Her mother on the other hand was the exact opposite, care free and adventurous.

Miki uses the two weeks to help out temporarily However, when possible investor
Jérôme Michel de Villiers comes into her life he takes her breath away and sweeps her off her feet.

Jérôme Michel de Villiers is a french playboy business man who enjoys the finer things in life.

Hey everyone, I have a tug at your heart love story to stare with you. WARNING this book may require a box of tissues, not included. :)

Can't Always Get What You Want by Chelsey Krause

It is said that there is someone out there for everyone but does a person only have one soul mate?

Sophie Richards is a nurse who works in acute care and fills in to help with the Emergency Room when needed. More often than not she complains about her career choice yet is as compassionate and understanding with the patients as she can be.

While Sophie is at her best friend Samira's house for the evening, Samira informs her that she cannot attend the Jagger Bombs concert that the two had made plans to go see months ago.

Sophie was looking forward to going with her best friend but understands. Samira suggests Sophie  call Brett Nicholson, a man Sophie has never met to go in Samira's place. After weighing all her options she gives Brett a call.

Brett Nicholson is the business partner of Samira's other half, Narayan. Oddly enough, Brett and Sophie have a brief yet enjoyable conversation and agree to meet up before the concert.

Sophie starts to wonder what she has gotten herself into. It has been five years since she lost her first true love. After giving herself a pep talk she thinks of the concert ahead and takes her first step towards life and all its possibilities instead of just coasting and existing.

Sophie finds Brett HOT and is pleasantly surprised that he seems to like the same music she does as he mouths the words to the songs. After the concert he insists on walking her to her car.

While he walks her to her car she realizes how easy he is to talk to while enjoying playful banter, they arrive at her car before she knows it but not before the two agree to meet up again.

Upon meeting up for coffee the two agree to start with friendship and to see what happens.

Will Sophie be able to cherish the past while moving on towards a brighter future?

More Than Exes By Elizabeth Briggs

Hey everyone, I have a cute novella to share with you today!

More Than Exes by Elizabeth Briggs

I am sure you all have heard the saying good guys never get the girl.

Kyle Cross, keyboardist of the band Villain Complex knows the saying all too well. His true love broke his heart three years ago. He had a few girlfriends since then but none of them were Alexis Monroe.

Kyle, Hector and Jared were in LA for Battle of the Bands, UCLA vs USC,the winner would recieve a $1,000, a gig at a bigger club on Hollywood Blvd and a $1,000 donation to the winning college's music program. USC had won the past two years. So, UClA's Villain Complex was determined to put USC's Rubber Horse in their place.

Almost all the members of Villain Complex had arrived hours early but they were curious as to where their bassist Becca was.

Kyle noticed a girl was talking with the bassist of their biggest rival of the USC bands, Rubber Horse. He was shocked to find out that the girl who caught his attention was his ex.

Alexis Monroe had traded in her Princeton heels and tied over the shoulder cardigans for a leather jacket and studded boots.

She was supposed to be in Princeton not in LA at Battle of the Bands.

This may be Kyle's only chance to either get the closure he needs for his heart to heal or for a second chance with the girl who broke his heart.

I enjoyed this cute bad boy read! (said to be released October 28, 2014)

Sanctuary By Eden Bradley

Hey everyone, the book I have to share with you is for ADULTS ONLY.

Sanctuary by Eden Bradley

Devin Delaney let her friend Kimmie talk her into going to Club X on fetish night. Every Friday the wicked and kinky would enter the Ring if they wanted to be shown the S&M treatment.

Devin a graphic designer, who always felt she had to be in control was surprised how seeing the two women being flogged awakened desires in her she never knew she had.

Not only did the act itself excite her but the thought of being flogged by a certain professional Dom named Shaye Vincent brought a rush of need to her as well.

Shaye Vincent an owner of a consulting firm also worked at Club X for fun. His father's haunting words remained in his head, when you need someone you lose control of your life. These words and his past have kept him from being in a relationship.

Devin could not bring herself to give into temptation the first time she was at Club X but after no longer being able to clear her mind of the fantasy images of Shaye having control over her she walked into Club X and entered the Ring.

Upon her entering the Ring it awakened more than just desires between the two of them.

I LOVED this book! In the past I have not been able to read too many books of this nature. Most books of this type just feel forced and do not flow together. However, Ms. Bradley is a rare exception. Her book drew me in at the start and by the end I wanted a sequel! It was the perfect combination of chemistry, kinkiness and sweetness. I will be adding her to my must read author list!

Handpicked By Dani Oden

Hey everyone I have a college suspense read to share with you today.

Handpicked by Dani Oden

Jill Holloway was not too enthused about the idea of joining a sorority. However, her best friend Lindy was to be third generation Greek and had talked Jill into rushing.

Jill was not too impressed with the previous preference events she attended but the last one, Iota Beta won her over. Upon leaving the Iota Beta house she notices guys lined up on the sidewalk the one frat guy who catches her eye took notice of her too and he handed her a rose.

Soon after, Jill was ecstatic to find out she had been accepted by Iota Beta. Lindy who was also accepted by Iota Beta did not share her friends enthusiasm.

Soon the two best friends stumble upon a fellow sister named Hannah and become fast friends.

Things quickly go from fun and dressy to unknown and mysterious. The sorority sisters gathered into a limo and were taken to a winery where a trick was played before the party officially kicked off.

While partying one of the girls had an accident and was taken away. She was never seen again after that night.

As things start to unravel the three quickly suspect that the sorority may be hiding more than just the average sorority secrets.

I liked how this story was suspenseful and kept me wanting to find out the truth right along with them.

The Fault In Our Stars By John Green

Hey everyone, I have decided to read a book from my personal T.B.R. pile. I know MOST everyone has read the book I have to share with you today. With that being said, I saw the film so I had to read the film to know the thoughts running through the characters heads. Normally, I read the books before watching the film adaption but not this time.

The Fault In Our Stars by John Green

Hazel Grace Lancaster's parents feel she is depressed so they insist she attend a support group for children and teens living with cancer. The day she puts up her best efforts to try to get out of going changes her life forever.

Hazel was diagnosed at the age of thirteen with cancer. Now, at the age of sixteen she has become a realist. When she first sees Augustus Waters she finds him attractive. However, she is intrigued by his words as he shares his story.

Augustus Waters lost his leg to cancer and uses a prosthetic but he did not lose his spirit in the process.

Augustus catches Hazel off guard when he compliments her and asks her to come over to his place to watch a film. He manages to convince her and not scare her away with his driving skills or lack there of.

The two connect over her favorite book An Imperial Affliction but the book ends abruptly leaving the reader with many unanswered questions. Augustus is determined to do whatever he can to get Hazel the answers she seeks. Even, if it means the two traveling to Amsterdam to get them.

Life is a gift that can be taken at any moment. Make every moment count. In the end we all will be someones memory.

I LOVED this book! I was pleasantly surprised at how  close the film adaption is to the book! Of course there were a few differences  off and on. However, I have not seen a film adaption so closely in-sync with the book in a VERY long time. WARNING read with a box of tissues near by. These kind of books do not normally make tears stream down but this book squeezed my heart and touched my soul.

HAPPY READING!!!!
