Lick By Kylie Scott (ADULTS ONLY)

Hey everyone! I have the perfect book to end the month of January with!

Lick by Kylie Scott

Evelyn Thomas went to Vegas to celebrate her twenty-first birthday with her best friend Lauren.

However, when Ev woke up she was in for the biggest surprise of her life. A SEXY HOT inked god of a man at her side.

The problem was she had no memory of what had happened the night before. The only things she knew was the pounding of her head, a manly man of all men standing before her and a massive ring bling on her left hand on a very important finger.

After, she explained to him that she did not remember what happened last night, he was a little more than upset and her reaction was a anything but subtle.

Before leaving her, he assured her his people would take care of it everything promptly.

Only after seeing his name tattooed on her butt cheek did she learn his name, David.

When she arrived in Portland airport only then did she realize who her husband was.

Will they grow together or grow apart?

I LOVED THIS BOOK! I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN! I lost track of time and stayed up reading!
This is certainly not like any Vegas love story I have ever read! The way these two connected was unique! I loved how he always cared for her, making sure she was okay. The story was electrifying, raw, and had so much passion that it was page melting.

HAPPY READING!!!

Bringing Home The Bad Boy By Jessica Lemmon

Hey everyone! I hope the first month on the new year has treated you nicely. The book I am going to be sharing with you today is about a fresh start.

Bringing Home the Bad Boy by Jessica Lemmon

Evan who is a talented artist, was drawn to Rae from the start.

Evan and Rae shared a connection that sent them down the aisle towards what he thought was their forever.

He never thought his wife would leave this Earth so suddenly and so young. Not only leaving Evan behind but also their son, Lyon.

Five years after her passing, he decided to sell the house they called home and the only home their son knew and move to Evergreen Cove.

Evergreen Cove is the town where Evan had spent his childhood summers and his angel wife's best friend resides.

Charlotte and Rae were such good friends, they were more like family. From the moment she held Lyon in her arms for the first time she was Aunt Charlie.

At Rae's funeral she promised to take care of her boys.

Evans childhood may also be the path to inner peace and a chance to have the future they deserve.

I LOVED THIS BOOK! This book grabbed me from the start. I now understand the phrase, book hangover. When the book ended my mind was still in the book with all the characters created by Ms. Lemmon. I was satisfied with the ending but was left wanting more!

Boring Girls By Sara Taylor

Hey everyone, the book I have to share with you is for ages 17+ due to subject matter. It is at the sole discretion of the parent or guardian if the child in their care reads the following book.

Boring Girls by Sara Taylor

Rachel is excelling in school academically but as for the social scene she lives a life of solitude. Except when, being bullied by Brandi.

On the way home from her last day of school, for summer break. Rachel hears metal music from a car stopped at a stop sign. The music matched how she felt at that moment. She noticed one bumper sticker she could actually make out the font of, DED.

So, she went to the music store and inquired about DED (Die Every Death) Rachel was hooked.

During the summer she became interested in other metal bands and buying metal magazines. She knew there were others out there like her, she just had to find them.

Once the new school year started she began to dress differently. In hopes of attracting others like her.

During Art class Rachel meets Josephine her first real friend, who transferred from another school.

Although, they were friends they had different tastes, interests etc.

After several attempts of Josephine trying to get Rachel to go to a party with her to meet her former school friends, Rachel reluctantly agrees.

While at the party things did not go as Josephine had hoped but Rachel had met a new friend.

Unlike with Josephine, Rachel felt a connection of common interest with Fern. The two friends shopped at the same places and enjoyed the same music.

Rachel and Fern left the party and made plans for Rachel to go to a concert with Fern and her friends.

Rachel and Fern became such good friends that they decided to start a band.

The band was all fun and good times. Until, what was to be an AMAZING night turned into Hell on Earth for Rachel and Fern.

The two boring girls begin their dark twisted spiral of revenge.

This book was AWESOME! While it was dark, extreme, intense, and twisted. I understand that good and bad experiences change us. When a person has such a traumatic experience they either fight to overcome and see the light or let their inner demons fester in the darkness and rip them a part from the inside out. The type of music has nothing to do with it.

Untouched By Lauren Hawkeye

Hey everyone, the read I have to share with you is a mystery with a dark twist.

Untouched by Lauren Hawkeye

Alexa Kendrick is a successful artist who went to a bar for a celebratory drink and the next thing she knew, she was in the hospital with no memory of what had landed her there. All she knew was what they told her, that she was in a car accident.

While working as a waitress, a sister she never knew entered her life, leaving Alexa with yet more questions.

After living with her mother for a year after the accident, Alexa is determined to try to clear the haze of her memory and try to piece herself back together.

Alexa informs her loving but over protective mother that she is going to Florence where her mother had left skeletons of the past buried.

While at a cafe in Florence Alexa meets Nate Fury, a local prison guard who has been battling inner demons and depression.

With Alexa desperate for answers she refuses to ignore the tid-bits of information that swarm her in the small town.

The truth may be far more damaging than the lies and secrets.

Do mothers really know best?

AND

Can two people who are damaged by their individual pasts be each others saving grace?

I found this to be a really interesting read with heart wrenching discoveries. This book is filled with self discovery and acceptance, mystery and what true love truly is.

French Kissed By Chanel Cleeton

Hey everyone, I hope everyone had a safe memorable holiday! I am sorry I have not shared a book in a little while. Between the holidays and my oldest daughters birthday it has been crazy busy! I have a wonderful book to start off my 2015 reads and reviews!

French Kissed by Chanel Cleeton

Fleur Marceaux seems to have it all but outward appearances can be deceiving.

Fleur is a high maintenance college senior at the International School of London whose future is dangling by a thread. Her lifeline for the chance at a bright future is her ex boyfriends best friend.

Max Tucker is on scholarship at the International School of London. He is determined to finish school and become successful in the financial world without the support of his family.

However, when he is partnered with Fleur he fears the Ice Queen may not take the assignment seriously and that he will be doing all the work.

While being forced to work together the two agree to call a truce on their love-hate animosity towards each other.

As time passes the two realize that there is more to the other than what is displayed to the world.

Love is blind and opens the heart, but will a haunting past destroy the possibility of a future?

I LOVED THIS BOOK! When I first started this book I thought it was going to be another typical boy out of place in a world not meant for him. I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered this book had so much more depth and heart with a twist of mystery.

HAPPY READING!!!
