Hello Everyone, I hope you had a marvelous Labor Day! Goodbye August Hello September! So, lets kick this month off right!
Isn't She Lovely by Lauren Layne
When Stephanie and Ethan first bumped into each other they did not exactly hit it off. Unless you count trading jabs of sarcasm and stereotypes. So, when they find out they are not only in the same film class but are paired up to work on an assignment together the crazy train is set in motion.
Stephanie Kendrick is intelligent yet she is the keep to yourself type who would rather hide in corners than be the life of the party. She avoids her family like the plague so much so that she signed up for a summer film class and moved in with her cheating ex.
Ethan Price is the boy who has his it all including his future planned out from A-Z, has decided to take a break from family expectations and take a summer course.
When Stephanie and Ethan end up playing I will scratch your back if you scratch mine the claws come out. However, how deep will they go and when all is said and done what will remain in the end.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The chemistry between these two was perfect. I laughed so hard at their banter, felt compassion towards their situations and pulling for opposites to attract.
Best Wishes Always,
