HomeFront By Jessica Scott

Hey everyone, I am sorry I have not been around lately. The past few days my family and I have been fighting off a nasty cold. Today, I have the perfect Sunday read for you!

Homefront by Jessica Scott

After being a way from his daughter and his ex wife, First Sergeant Gale Sorren is stationed at Fort Hood and has the opportunity to set things right.

Setting things right would be no easy task he had let his then wife down more times then he could count.

Melanie Francesco never stopped loving him but raising a child on your own while worrying if your husband would return home alive is no small toll.

However, when Gale recieved word that their daughter was hospitalized and would not be allowed to return home he lost it.

Melanie understood the ways of the military but it is little comfort when your child nearly dies and you are left alone.

When Gale sets foot on her doorstep Mel showed no emotion of anger or hate. Yet, it was his daughter that greeted him.

Gale soon realizes the mother daugther issues that have come about over time and offers to help.

He understands that his daughter is no longer a young child and that Mel has done the best she can.

The past can not be altered but, is it too late to reconnect and reclaim his family?

I really enjoyed this book! The story was realistic, the emotions were raw, and the events that took place were intense!

HAPPY READING!!!

Best Wishes Always,

Wicked Woman
