Elite By Rachel Van Dyken

Hey everyone, I hope everyone is having a pleasant weekend. I hope everyone has been able to find time to read a good book, if you are currently searching for a good book I have a great one for you!

Elite by Rachel Van Dyken

After Tracey Rooks lost her parents at a young age, she was raised by her grandparents on a Wyoming farm. After losing her grandmother Tracey seizes the chance to secure a future for herself and to be able to help out her grandfather in the long run by entering to win an annual scholarship to attend Eagle Elite University. To her surprise, she wins and is anxious and nervous to leave her grandfather and begin college life.

When she arrives at Eagle Elite University it is not at all what she expected. Her grandpa had not even left yet when  two boys who were not exactly welcoming, confronted them.

Once she and her grandfather were informed that no parents are allowed in the dorms they said their goodbyes.

While rummaging through her purse to find her welcome packet that had been mailed to her. Nixon, one of the boys who had confronted her when she arrived was quick to lay out the following rules:

  • Do not touch the Elect.
  • Do not look at the Elect
  • Do not speak to the Elect.
  • Privileges are to be earned.
Nixon is in charge at the school, not the teachers or even the Dean. Nixon's small group of friends take orders from him and if anything shady occurs the school administrators look the other way.

When Nixon finds out she is not just the New Girl or Farm girl as the Elect call her
everything changes and not just the rules.Which, leaves her with more questions than answers. Once she gets the answers she seeks, will she be able to handle the truth and all that goes with it?

I LOVED THIS BOOK! It was a very unique, and imaginative college type story. I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future! (said to be released October 14, 2014)

HAPPY READING!!!

Best Wishes Always,

Wicked Woman
