From the moment Cherice Debusshere woke, her day had started off on the wrong foot. She woke up late and her car service was already waiting for her to take her to the airport.
In her haste to not miss her flight and get to her sisters wedding in New York, she threw items in her suitcase and off she went but her trouble had just begun.
When she arrived she had a long line to wait in and she had a stressful time getting through security.
As she finally made her way to the gate, the entrance to board the plane was closed.
However, it turned out not to matter, as her flight was cancelled due to bad weather.
After speaking with her brother, her only option to get to the wedding was to drive but the last rental available was snatched up by, Nathaniel Oserkowski.
After over hearing the call Cherice had with her brother, he learned that she was afraid to drive and even more so in the bad weather.
Nathaniel, aka Oz, is a hardworking, blue-collar, gentleman who works his butt off to help out his sister and nephew. He has three jobs but has a job interview in New York, for a position that could get his foot in the door towards the career of his dreams.
Being the gentleman he is, he offers her a ride. After all, they are going in the same direction and he could use the company.
Oz quickly realizes she may be more than he bargained for.
But is she worth all the trouble?
I REALLY enjoyed this book! It was a lot of fun and has a heartfelt underlying message.
